Activities
The Activity Department at Adirondack Tri-County NRC is focused on providing group and individual activity opportunities for our residents.
The goal of activity programming is to enhance the residents' highest practicable level of physical, mental and psychosocial well-being. We must address each residents interests and current abilities to provide them with appropriate activities.
Some of our group activities include cognitive games such as Bingo, Cards, and Trivia. Many of our residents enjoy our daily morning exercise group which combines some low-key exercise with social time. We offer many special events and entertainment, cooking and craft groups, reminiscing programs, movies, pet visits, and much more...

Community outings to local restaurants and for shopping or picnics are held each month. Many residents have the opportunity for outings and in nice weather, we spend many hours outdoors in our Gazebo and garden area.

Many residents have been very involved in their churches/faith communities and this continues once they are at our facility. We offer various religious services and also make contact with clergy on an individual basis.
The Activity staff at ATCNRC strive to know the individual interests of each resident. We make sure that people have the materials necessary for in-room activities such as reading, needlework and TV viewing. A great deal of time is spent visiting residents on a 1-1 basis to get to know them and establish report.
